Welcome!
See Change Therapy is a virtual psychotherapy service based in Coquitlam, BC. With this in mind, I wish to acknowledge the ancestral and unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem First Nation.
Whether it’s complex suffering since childhood, a distressing event in the past or a difficult problem in the present, my services are designed to facilitate meaningful change. This starts with getting to know about you, the issues with which you struggle and what you see for yourself in the future. From there, developing a clear plan each session and more broadly, evaluating progress on a routine basis is an essential part of reaching goals. I make it a point to ensure that my clients are fully empowered to make well-informed decisions about their own care.
My personality has often been described as warm, supportive and non-judgmental. It is fitting, then, that I take a strengths-based approach in my work with clients and in fact, this is my starting point with everyone I support. I thoroughly enjoy seeing my clients make positive change in their lives. I really love my work!
Experience & qualifications
I have 12 years of post-graduate social work experience and combined 25 years of front line service as a healthcare professional. Along the way, I’ve had opportunities to earn a diploma in therapeutic recreation, as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work.

My professional designation
The professional title I use is Registered Clinical Social Worker (‘RCSW’). As as registrant of the BC College of Social Workers, this means that I am authorized to practice in an advanced area of social work. To do so, I have studied for and passed the Association of Social Work Boards Clinical Exam.
Social workers are often included in healthcare benefits plans. However, not all are the same. I encourage you to check with your provider to see if my services are covered. I am able to provide a receipt after sessions which may then be submitted to providers for reimbursement.
